Are you looking to start a career in technical sales? We are looking for Solutions Advisors to support Twilio’s rapidly growing user community and help drive customer success. You will be at the forefront of providing “A’ha! Moments” for customers by explaining the advantages of building with Twilio, how Twilio works, and how it can be leveraged to solve unique Customer Experience problems.

We are looking for an ambitious, customer orientated, and curious individual who lives the Twilio Magic, has a passion for communications and customer experience, and wants to begin their technical sales career.

About the job

You are right for this position if you want to:

  • Show customers how to solve their problems and meet their requirements with Twilio
  • Work with developers to explain Twilio and its uses, all the while creating Twilio champions with each interaction
  • Learn how to use APIs to build frontend or backend applications, helping to qualify early that Twilio is the right fit for a customer’s needs
  • Answer Technical questions from prospects wanting to talk to sales
  • Develop and deliver exceptional company/product presentations and demonstrations
  • Collate feedback from customers to help identify roadblocks in our self-service model
  • Identify and write internal and external technical collateral, like basic deployment architectures or best practices
Responsibilities
  • Have great presentation skills with an ability to present technical solutions concisely
  • Be confident in talking to people with differing technical backgrounds 
  • Be proactive in engaging with customers early in their Twilio journey
  • Have a passion for diving into technical issues and solving customer problems
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment

Know how in the following areas are a plus, too: 

  • Cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure), 
  • Cloud application architecture
  • Telecommunications

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $69,100.00 - $86,400.00
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $76,800.00 - $96,000.00
  • This role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
  • This role is eligible to earn commissions. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
