Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical point of contact for our sales team, providing expert insights, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and imparting architectural counsel.
• Decipher the unique needs of our clients and eloquently convey how the RisingWave Streaming Database can tailor solutions to their requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive solutions leveraging the RisingWave Streaming Database.
• Advocate RisingWave solutions, adeptly communicating their merits and capabilities to clients and stakeholders.
• Conceptualize and develop thorough Proof of Concept (PoC) applications that demonstrate both vertical and horizontal solutions.
• Provide articulate and technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and compose meticulous proposal documents.
• Enable the smooth onboarding and training of new users on the RisingWave Streaming Database platform.
• Collaborate with the product development team to share customer feedback and shape the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar customer-facing role, such as Solution Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Customer Success Consultant.
• Proven experience with data engineering and data systems, including but not limited to streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar), OLTP (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), OLAP (e.g., Clickhouse, Pinot), data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and lake houses (e.g., Iceberg, Hudi), is a must.
• Candidates who exhibit full-stack development experience will be prioritized.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence various technical and non-technical audiences across all organizational levels.
• A demonstrated record of customer success, along with robust problem-solving abilities, is highly desirable.
• Experience with industrial solutions, including financial systems and Web 2.0/Web 3.0 technologies, will be considered a significant advantage.
