A Solution Architect in analytics will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and robust data-driven solutions to support the Global Digital organization's business goals and objectives. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs, and will be responsible for translating those needs into technical designs and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in data engineering, data architecture, data warehousing, and analytics.

The candidate will be responsible for owning the design and development of analytics solutions working with a team of data engineers and analytics engineers. They should also have experience working with a variety of cloud technologies, open source data technologies, including ETL tools, databases, and business intelligence platforms. In addition to technical skills, the solution architect should have excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as they will be responsible for translating sophisticated technical concepts to a non-technical audience. They should also be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable and robust, data-driven solutions that meet the requirements of the business teams
• Evaluate solutions from multiple views to acquire a holistic perspective of the range of issues, risks, and opportunities and build best practices.
• Work with a team of data engineers and analytic engineers to implement data-driven solutions
• Ensure the technical feasibility of the solutions and their alignment with the overall strategy of the organization
• Collaborate with other solution architects and technical teams to ensure the smooth implementation and integration of data solutions
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies, and incorporating those technologies into the organization's data solutions as appropriate
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field
• At least 2- 3 years experience in data architecture, data engineering, and data analytics.
• At least 2 years Experience in SQL, Python
• At least 2- 3 years of experience in at least one other programming language
• Strong understanding of data management and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work optimally with cross-functional teams
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to translate business needs into technical designs and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in mentoring teams and driving project deliverables

Salary Range $77,120 - $113,400 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
