We’re looking for a technical Solution Architect. Is it you?

As a Solution Architect at Evive you will evaluate and clarify all business requirements and customer facing issues within the organization. You will use both technical and interpersonal skills to design, describe, and support technical solutions. As a Solution Architect you will evaluate the existing environment and examine how different elements of the business, industry, and technology can be applied to solve a specific problem within a release window. 

You will be the person who builds the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements required to make that solution work by creating an overall strategic technical vision. After you have designed the correct solution, it’s your job to manage the various activities that are involved for a successful implementation. As a Solution Architect you are required to have knowledge in the technical and business inner workings of the company. You will translate US based requirements from our customer teams back to our technical teams who are located in India.

This position, while a standard full time position, will require non-traditional work hours. This role will interface with the customer and sales teams in the US, as well as, the technical teams in India.

Here’s what a Solution Architect does at Evive (for people who like bullet lists):

• Translate US health and benefits  customer- requirements back to our professional services and product development teams. Non-traditional hours will be required.
• Day-to-day work involves market facing discussions to elicit requirements, distilling them into solution definitions using Evive’s platform capabilities and delivering functional roadmaps.
• Serve as the go-to technical resource for Growth organization supporting pre-sales and customer success initiatives.
• Lead teams indirectly to deliver solutions alongside product development and go-to-market teams. Responsible for solution enablement with the customer including documentation and training.
• Have an analytical approach to understand all of the technologies and topics related to the business to have a deep enough understanding to create a solution.
• Develop work plans and coordinate activities across multiple project workstreams.
• Regularly communicating new features and functionality to partners, customers, and internal stakeholders conveying technical language to stakeholders in non-technical terms.
• Develop repeatable and scalable processes for solution go-to-market with Growth organization. 
• Measuring and monitoring solution outcome and value driven to continuously improve proposed solutions. 
• Other duties as assigned by management or required by the company. 

You bring a lot to the table.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience with ability to communicate between technical and non-technical teams.
• At least 8-10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or of relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable about all phases of the product development life cycle and solution delivery for cloud-based systems.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, organization, communication, and time management skills.
• A deep understanding of analytical skills and techniques.
• A good understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
• Proven track record of work experience as an architect, project manager, or developer.
• Benefits or HR industry knowledge (preferred but not required).
