As a Solution Architect at Kount, you are responsible for design and technical delivery at a solution level. This role requires a wide range of technical expertise, including systems architecture and component design. You'll build consensus for your architecture across organizations such as product, information security, en- terprise architecture, and feature teams. Help us guide engineering teams with various skill sets and backgrounds to bring soft- ware solutions from inception to happy customers!

What you'll do

• Design technical solutions for new products, features, and infrastructure improvements.
• Work with the product organization to document requirements and identify cross-team dependencies.
• Provide specifications to feature teams and work with them to break down tasks and estimate delivery
• Establish non-functional requirements and ensure they are met, particularly: quality, security, performance, and monitoring.
• Work with feature teams regularly to provide guidance, technical direction, and remove roadblocks.
• Take ownership for successful product deliveries, including technical execution and systems integration. Notify stakeholders on the status of product development, processes, and costs.
• Continually research emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing architecture.
• Collaborates with the Enterprise Architect and other Solution Architects to ensure proposed architectures are in line with the Kount enterprise architectural vision and are resulting in a redundant solution.

What experience you need

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of working experience in one or multiple Engineering areas (Development, Dev- Ops, Architecture).
• 3+ Years of experience designing technical solutions for new products in a distributed, cloud native platform.(AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• 2+ years of experience and understanding of architecture patterns (microservices, event-based, microkernel)

What could set you apart

• Experience in Financial Industry or Ecommerce Work with the product organization to document requirements and identify cross-team dependencies.
• 2+ Provide specifications to feature teams, and work with them to break down tasks and estimate delivery dates.
• 2+ Previous experience working with feature teams regularly to provide guidance, technical direction, and remove roadblocks
• 2+ years Experience collaborating with multiple departments for successful product delivery.
