Solution Architect

Adage Technologies seeks Solution Architects in Chicago, IL.
What you'll do:

• Create large-scale technology and web development solutions.
• Engage with clients to understand their technical challenges, and then collaborate with our scrum teams to bring those ideas to life.
• Design and building complex web applications and dynamic components of web and ecommerce sites.
• Enhance application features using client-side technologies.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including but not limited to presentations, workshops, estimation activities, and POC development..
• Create development timelines and recommended build sequences for large scale projects.
• Be responsible for leading technical discovery activities, translating customer requirements into development plans and designing architecture to meet client's expectations.
• Guide projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (gather requirements, estimate tasks and deliver work each sprint).
• Act as a technical advocate, helping to lead exploration of emerging technologies and refining best practices and processes.
• Mentor other developers, conduct code reviews, and share knowledge to promote continued learning

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field plus six years of experience.
Requires 6 years of experience with the following:

• Designing and building complex web applications and dynamic components of web and ecommerce sites utilizing ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, TypeScript, SASS, and MVC
• Designing architecture to meet client's expectations based on best practices and coding standards
• Guiding projects through the entire SDLC- gathering requirements, estimating tasks and delivering work each sprint
• Ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements including security, performance, and extensibility
• Identifying risks in technology implementation.
