Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our team at FLYR Labs. The primary function of this role is to work closely with customers, product owners, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and current capabilities, and then map those back to the various FLYR products, working closely with product and engineering to address gaps as needed. The ideal candidate will have significant architecture experience, ideally with complex enterprises.

• Collaborate with clients as well as internal stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, and translate those into FLYR product solutions

• Develop and present tailored product demonstrations and proof of concepts to clients, developers, and other parties

• Assess potential customer and other third party integrations, identify gaps, and design solutions to align with FLYR's product offerings

• Work closely with the sales and engineering teams to define new features either in response to or anticipating customer and other stakeholder needs

• Assist with pre-sales activities, including responding to RFPs, technical presentations, and providing support to the sales team

• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the travel sector

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or similar industry experience

• Significant architecture experience, ideally with complex enterprises

• Significant recent development experience, including the ability to rapidly develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and other technical artifacts as needed to demonstrate new concepts and solutions

• Proficient with data analysis using BI tools, SQL, and other relevant technologies

• Strong programming skills, including the ability to critically review source code and otherwise help developers write better code

• Experience with modern, cloud-native distributed systems

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience

• Enterprise architecture experience

• Exposure to modern data engineering

• Travel industry experience is a huge plus

• GCP experience and certifications
