What You'll Do

• Design technical solutions for new products, features, and infrastructure improvements.
• Work with the product organization to document requirements and identify cross-team dependencies.
• Provide specifications to feature teams and work with them to break down tasks and estimate delivery.
• Establish non-functional requirements and ensure they are met, particularly quality, security, performance, and monitoring.
• Work with feature teams regularly to provide guidance, technical direction, and remove roadblocks.
• Take ownership for successful product deliveries, including technical execution and systems integration.
• Notify stakeholders on the status of product development, processes, and costs.
• Continually research emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing architecture.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and other Solution Architects to ensure proposed architectures are in line with the Kount enterprise architectural vision and are resulting in a redundant solution.

What experience you need

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Masters degree a plus.
• 5+ years of working experience in one or multiple Engineering areas (Development, DevOps, Architecture).
• 5+ Years of experience designing technical solutions for new products in a distributed, cloud native platform (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• 4+ years of experience and understanding of architecture patterns (microservices, event-based, microkernel).
