This role is with the Cognizant Integration and Process Management Practice within Enterprise Platform Services Team (IPM-EPS). Cognizant's IPM practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. IPM has strategic alliances with "best of bread" platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

Job Description: As the Solution Architect, the candidate will need to learn the team and understand their focus for immediate and long-term objectives. Upon doing this, he/she will then provide solutions for the development needs. An ideal person will be doing 50% solution architecture, 25% code reviews, 25% proof of concepts (this can change/evolve day by day). He/she should act as an individual contributor to create a solution, and then work with developers and team leaders to implement. While each team member has a primary skill set, they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. The team is highly collaborative and values continuous improvement and open communication. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: • Required skills:

o 4 Years of hands-on solution architecture experience

o 5+ years of Java development experience

o 2+ years Microservice (need to have built 10+ from scratch)

o eCommerce experience (building eCommerce systems)

o Kafka or Azure Event Hub

o Experience with: Apache Camel, Azure Logic app, Azure Function, Azure Data Factory.

o Expertise integrating with other systems (API development)

o Experience with variety of Design Patterns

o Expertise with UI/frontend technology stack (Swift UI, MFC, React.js, etc)

o Expertise in using both document based and relational dBs such as Couchbase, Costmos dB, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL • Desired Skills

o Swift UI

o Experience with "Clear Architecture Pattern"

o iOS mobile development experience (Swift or Xamarin)

o Event Grid, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
