Job Description

As an Architect, you will design and optimize IT architectures and analyze business and technical requirements for software, platforms and/or infrastructure for private and business customers so that IT solutions and services such as 5G Network Slicing, Open RAN, IoT, Industry 4.x or Mobile Gaming can be implemented quickly, agilely and innovatively.
Your essential tasks will further include:
- You accompany projects technically from solution design to launch and provide comprehensive consulting services
- You accompany product/service development along the entire development process (lifecycle)
- You follow current technology trends and advise on key transformation projects
- You create and maintain architecture documentation
- You lead projects

Qualifications

You have a university degree with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification and already have several years of professional experience in the IT architecture environment.
Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- Technology and methodology expertise at the current state of the art: Network Design, Operation Support Systems & Solutions, Domain Orchestration.
- Advanced knowledge of technological mobile radio platforms (4G, 5G, Open RAN, Hybrid Networks)
- Hands-on experience in deploying integration technologies, modularization, Open API, AI/AI, cloud-native solutions.
- Cross-cultural experience in offshore projects
- Solid experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe Framework).
- Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Area of expertise:
DigiHub BM RAN Infrastructure is responsible for the agile development and operation of the, for planning, deployment, inventory, configuration and optimization of the mobile access network, required IT services, as well as the interfaces to assurance and workforce control. The business focus of RAN Infrastructure is on high network coverage and high quality in front of the customer. Therefore DigiHub ensures the integration and rollout of new network structures (Small Cells, 5G, ...) as well as network layouts (i.e. explosion of the number of cells, macro to Small Cells) in an automated way. The goal is to ensure the high quality, coverage, capacity and innovation and thus also the award "Best Network" also for the future.
