ABOUT THE ROLE:

A Solution Architect for our Salesforce Emerging Services Practice is a strategic position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in architecture, analytics strategy, solution design, and is hands-on with build work in Datorama. Solution Architects are experienced consultants and are depended on by our customers for technical vision and proactive and strategic advice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work as part of an overall delivery team to deliver a legendary customer experie nce on Salesforce solutions
  • Lead consultative engagements with customers on business goals and challenges, centered around the use of Datorama as the marketing analytics platform

  • Architect a detailed solution tailored to customers' goals, taking into accou nt their current and future-state environment.
  • Effectively communicate and present the design, positive impacts, and limitations of proposed solutions to customers.
  • Approach each customer as a unique client, ensuring that their environment, skill set, inte rnal processes, and business structure are accounted for in overall designs.
  • Build and fully test the solutions as designed, working with customers to iterate through modifications and revisions.
  • Document design and/or maintenance processes as necessary.

  • P rovide in-depth training as appropriate to ensure customers are self-sustaining.
  • Collaborate with other team members to validate solutions, solve technical challenges, and share knowledge.
  • Currently no travel but future potential for up to 10% travel to cl ient locations throughout the U.S.
  • Perform other duties required and assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • One Of:

  • 1+ year implementing Datorama

  • 3+ years implementing analytics solutions for external customers

  • Examples: Tableau, Salesforce CRM Analytics , Power BI, or Google Looker ( Data Studio )

  • 3 or more years working on or with marketing teams
  • Understanding of marketing data collection practices
  • A passion for data and experience in analyzing and manipulating large datasets

  • Experience going deep into clients' current processes to fully understand the nature of their business, while identifying how and why their business goals are critical.
  • Demonstrated track record in learning new technologies quickly
  • Previous role that involved working with relational data models and data integrations into multiple systems
  • Experience with Javascript-based or Excel formulas.
  • Experience working with marketing data from sources such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Google Ads, display platforms, and others.

  • Experience leading discoveries, gathering technical requirements and executing a solution based on system best practices, platform limitations, and client ability to maintain .

Preferred:

  • Experience working in the Salesforce ecosystem (Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud etc)
  • Experience designing and delivering a training program tailored to clients' needs. Training should be appropriate for individuals at varying levels within a cli ent's organization and with varying degrees of technical abilities.

  • Experience mentoring individuals in an equal or lesser role.
  • Comfort with engagements of almost any size
  • Experience with querying languages such as SQL/SOQL
  • Experience building analytics dashboards and reports that tell a story.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,990 - $140,760 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
