As member of the Solution Architecture team in Optasia, your primary objective is to work closely with the client, product management and software development team and be able to demonstrate your high level of business knowledge, technical knowledge and communication skills. 

What you will be doing

• Transform business requirements into technology solutions delivered on top of Optasia’s in-house platform
• Interact with clients’ various stakeholders to align IT solutions with business objectives
• Produce technical artifacts such as use cases, flow diagrams, requirements and solution documents for client teams
• Collaborate closely with multiple internal stakeholders, such as engineering, quality assurance, product management, business and operations, to deliver new solutions.
• Evaluate and prototype APIs for third-party integrations
• Contribute in evolving Optasia’s in-house platform by identifying needs and opportunities for new features
• Provide technical consultancy to the sales team, including giving demonstrations and assisting on RFP responses

What you will bring

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a directly related role such as solutions architect or technical business analyst
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
• Prior hands-on software development experience (preferably, backend development using Java, databases and integration with third-party services)
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in multiple time zones
• Hands-on knowledge of web services, SQL and networking
• Familiarity with telecom Online Charging Systems and/or banking systems is a great plus
• Experience in product-oriented projects and release management processes
• Experience in software development processes and issue tracking systems
• Willingness to travel occasionally 
• Experience in working with secure code development guidelines and coding practices (i.e. OWASP, NIST)
