Solution Architect II (GenAI)

We are seeking a dynamic Solution Architect II to join EPAM AI SDLC Center of Excellence (AI SDLC CoE) to engage in opportunities centered around Application Modernization using Generative AI.
The ideal candidate will blend exceptional architectural knowledge with an entrepreneurial and integrative mindset to manage multiple projects within AI-driven modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust solutions for application modernization utilizing Generative AI tools and frameworks
• Work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders across EPAM to ensure alignment of project objectives
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and software engineering to adopt the most effective technologies and methodologies
• Lead the strategic planning for the integration of Generative AI into application architectures
• Perform in-depth analysis of existing monolithic applications and propose strategies for modernization
• Lead technical presentations and discussions to clearly explain complex solution architectures
• Oversee and mitigate technical risks during the implementation of solutions

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields; Master's degree preferred
• Extensive experience in solution/software architecture including legacy monolith applications, cloud-based solutions, microservices, and serverless architectures
• At least 3 projects in a technical team lead role with constant hands-on work during the last 3 years
• Knowledge of data concepts and familiarity with UI frameworks
• Ability to multitask by managing various projects and integrating diverse teams
• Experience with Generative AI tools, specifically in the context of application modernization
• Keen interest in AI trends and solutions with an ability to stay informed about new market offerings
• Entrepreneurial and integrative mindset with the ability to quickly adapt
• Strong capabilities in problem-solving, strategic and creative thinking
• Readiness to dive deep into EPAM's tools and frameworks for effective utilization
• High proficiency in the English language

• Certifications in cloud technologies or architectural design
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in a global or multinational project environment
