We have a robust support model for these large organizations and an integral piece to this team is a technical director. This role will be looked for by the customer and Vertafore to solution goals and challenges. They bring a tenacity to dig deep, understand the situation from all levels of the organization, devise the best solution and communicate to executives on the approach. Internally they work hand in hand with the account director, can align the correct resources to execute and work with internal departments to drive solutions. Success in this role will be determined by the customer's success in fully utilizing Vertafore's technology to achieve business goals.
What to expect:
· Primary technology consultant on Vertafore's largest customers.
· Immediate credibility with C-Level audiences and technologists.
· Understand our customer's business challenges and consult on how our and partner technologies can support focused efforts.
· Be the solutionist to our customer's technology challenges
· Establishes context for the solution and defines the vision and requirements for the solution.
· Elaborates on potential options, prototype development, POC selecting the most optimal option and develops roadmaps for the selected solution.
· Communicates and documents possible solutions to stakeholders and is an internal resource to achieve successful projects.
· Suggest overall technical visions for a particular solution, recommending solutions for more effective systems that best meet the purpose of the business.
· Is an integral part of a team that drives success for the nation's largest agencies.
· Knows how to work internally to align the right resources.
Required Qualities:
· Desire to deep dive into challenges and dig to find solutions.
· C-Level communication skills and ability to lead executive meetings
· Understanding of system integration, connectivity, data structures
· Tenacity, never say die, always another way
· Extremely fast learner
· Confident, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player
Experience:
· Enterprise level consultation skills with demonstrated successful solutioning
· Insurtech and insurance industry a big plus
· Must possess a proven understanding of the corporate business world; prior experience in SaaS or Insurance is preferred
· Technology experience and related education desired
· Demonstrated strategic solution development and management of successful plans
· Experience working with senior and executive level customer contacts
· Demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements and Details:
· Travel required up to 50% of the time.
· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
· Frequent sitting and/or standing.
