You will:
- Closely interacting with prospects as well as existing accounts in deeply understanding the customers' needs and preparing solution materials, responding to RFPs, doing product demonstrations, supporting proofs of concept, and any other work required to help the clients understand how ChargeAfter fits their needs
- Working with sales, you'll discover the business and operational challenges or goals the prospect has and prepare presentations and demonstrations to show how ChargeAfter is the best solution for themÂ
- Handing over new projects to the Onboarding and Integration teams as well as coordinating with product management on any new features, changes, or enhancementsÂ
- Manage requirements to Product Marketing to create content including demo videos, sales demo environments, case studies, and other collateralÂ
- Support Our Sales Process: Our sales team will rely on you to ensure the key technical influencers of our customers (and potential customers) deeply understand our technology, what makes it different and better than that of our competitors, and how to quickly get integrated and live. Support multiple sales opportunities in various stages of that process
- Educate the merchants and customers to implement optimal integration strategies, techniques and user experience best practices.
- Help companies across varying industries to understand and evaluate the technical capabilities of our products, leading evaluation cycles to gain product fit consensus
- Understand and interpret prospective customer requirements, delivering customized product demonstrations to match customer needs
- Collect and analyze feedback from prospective customers to influence roadmap, collaborating with sales engineering, engineering, and product management teams to meet our prospects’ business challenges and align with ChargeAfter's business objectives
- Work within an Enterprise Account team (Account Manager, Technical Account Manager, and Customer Success Manager) to coordinate closing complex opportunities and driving adoption of ChargeAfter’s products.
Requirements
You have:Â
- BA/BS degree in business/technology, or equivalent technical account management experience
- 5+ years in Sales/Solution Engineering, Partner Engineering, Solutions Architect and or Technical Sales Engineer
- 2+ years of experience working in the banking or FinTech industry and deep knowledge of consumer or business lending, financing products, and operationsÂ
- Experience with REST API, Webhooks, APIs/Web Integrations, in general, is required. Knowledge in JS, Node, C#, or any other programming language is nice to have but not required
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills. Being able to provide product, technical, and integration expertise in a way that removes confusion, doubt, or uncertainty
- Experience in responding to formal proposal procedures such as RFIs and RFPs
- A consultative mindset of listening, understanding, and anticipating customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently and drive projects to completion with aggressive schedules and high attention to detail.

NYC Posting: In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $120,000-$140,000. This role may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or stock options. All offers to candidates will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s individual experience, skill set, background and other business and organizational needs.Â
