The Opportunity

We're looking for a passionate Solution Engineer to own the technical and operational solution design and improvement throughout the entire client life cycle, from pre-sales, to scoping, implementation and ongoing contract delivery. You will achieve success by engaging with both the client and ESW team members through a consultative process to clearly define, configure and delivery the client requirements within the expected timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical & operations support to sales during the client pre-sales phase of the engagement process.
- Document client solution requirements concisely and accurately, to ensure product and client implementation teams have absolute clarity.
- Working with Product Owners, to complete high-level client requirements to input into product development requests.
- Provide guidance to the client implementation schedule, ensuring all requirements are delivered.
- Configure the client solution via the ESW onboarding tooling.
- Ongoing management of client expectations against product and functionality release schedules.
- Report on the overall progress and health of the client projects in progress including identifying areas of non-compliance to formal project methodology.
- Lead the client relationship from the pre-sales phase through to project go live.
- Lead multi-functional continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a client technical management role, ideally within an e-commerce or development environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business/Technology/Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of B2C e-commerce solutions, processes, and technology solutions, including web stores, payments, and distribution platforms.
- Structured approach to specifying, documentation, and planning.
- Solid project management experience.
- Capable of leading consultative workshops with clients to determine the best fit solution for the client.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external customers at all levels.
- Ability to manage client expectations and set realistic goals with customers and ESW teams.
The salary range for this role is: 113,000 – 156,000 USD per year.
