Solution Engineer - West Coast

About the Role: 

 We're hiring a Solution Engineer who will focus on our Altium 365 cloud platform as part of our Cloud Platform team. The reports to the team’s Solution Architect Manager. Solution Engineers at Altium, enterprise technology architectures (ETAs) are technical experts with Altium 365 cloud and SaaS solutions, delivering technical guidance to drive customer value realization for clients that have purchased Altium 365. Solution Engineers are accomplished at delivering performant technical practices at scale, aligning product capabilities with business needs and desired outcomes. They partner with Enterprise Solutions Strategists to provide the solutions and technical guidance that help the customer achieve their desired outcomes and goals.

A Day in The Life of Our Solution Engineer: 

• Design technical solutions and prescriptive solution-specific guidance for direct customer engagements

• Cultivate deep technical expertise in the Altium 365 cloud platform, staying up to date on all new capabilities to support varied customer needs

• Understand technical requirements, guide implementation of solutions, and ensure successful product adoption

• Create solution content to support customer goals and outcomes

• Collaborate with Enterprise Solutions Strategists to map out a solution-specific journey with a given customer and deliver guidance and activities that ensure continued progress along that journey

• Ensure the voice of the customer is represented inside of Altium, communicating direct and actionable feedback to both internal Product teams in their specific solution area(s)

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• 3+ years of experience within SaaS companies

• 2+ years of enterprise customer-facing roles

• Domain experience preferred

• Background in SaaS based-architectures, integration methods, and security considerations

• Comfortable learning and supporting the entire lifecycle of Altium 365 . You are comfortable researching, installing, supporting, and scaling Altium 365 Cloud Platform

• Technical product demonstration, documentation, and presentation experience

• Comfortable speaking to and influencing a customer's technical teams

• Experience helping an organization adopt an Altium or similar product

• Live on the West Coast of the US

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$145,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
