Summary of the role:

The Search & Inspire Product Marketing Management team is searching for a Regional Product Marketing Manager for AMERICA region - located in NORAM !

Search & Inspire (SNI) business is about Air Search solutions

SNI Product Marketing Manager's are at the intersection between Customer Life Cycle world (Regions, with Pre-Sales / Sales / Customer Success Managers, and Customers) and Product Manager & Operations part of Product Life Cycle.

Search & Inspire Product Marketing Managers (SNI-PMM) are responsible for creating everything necessary to sell incl. compelling messaging and positioning, supporting pricing and pricing localization, overseeing the development of promotional materials / sales enablement's, and supporting go-to-market activities to increase bookings and IT revenue from Searches solutions, and to ensure our customers satisfaction. We do so by understanding market and consumer trends in the industry and analyzing competitor activities in order to also create and execute effective marketing plans.

Search & Inspire Product Marketing Managers (SNI-PMM) are also here to bring our deep search solution expertise to support Commercial Organizations in each Regions (or customer's segment) in customer's facing meetings or industry events to sell or boost the usage and adoption of our Search solutions

Within the Search & Inspire PMM team, we also have Regional Product Marketing Managers, i.e. PMMs fully dedicated to a specific Region or customer's segment. In that specific role, the Regional SNI PMMs are mainly in charge or supporting Commercial Organization in Pre-Sales and CSM activities during complex Customer's workshops; evaluating customer feedback on the products, building solution proposals with Pre-Sales / CSMs teams to ensure final customer satisfaction. Hence, He/She actively participates in regional Search Solutions promotional activities and customer events.

In this role you'll:

UNDERSTAND MARKET AND CUSTOMERS INSIGHTS

Strategy & markets insights:

  • Provide insights from the markets and customers; these inputs are crucial to understanding value creation opportunities
  • SUPPORT PRODUCT STRATEGY
  • Provide market / regional input, especially in relation to the draft GTM plan
  • Contribute to Strategic pricing of products collaborating with Product Managers, drive pricing localization

PARTICIPATE IN CUSTOMER DISCOVERY / CUSTOMER INTERACTIONS

  • Interface between the client, the product team, sales, marketing & customer success
  • Play a critical role in the solution's success, influencing for value delivery along with PMs
  • Highlight implications of changes in the product roadmap for customer value proposition/messaging, as well as implications for local market needs
  • Provide support in customer meetings as Search solutions subject matter expert to transmit Amadeus Value Proposition and understand customer requirements
  • Offer feedback from customer's requirements point of view on specific iterations to the PMs

MEASURE AND SCALE

  • Ensure all launch and adoption activities are put in place for each individual market, working with local functional leads as appropriate and escalating any issues
  • Support in the creation of external-facing product feature and use case descriptions and market-facing messaging, consistent with value prop and go-to-market strategy
  • Collect feature/content/services localization requirements based on market needs and regulatory restrictions
  • Drive communications and upskilling programs to sales organization

Provide inputs to:

  • Sales, so that Sales can develop action and adoption plans for the Search solution(s) to be released
  • Marketing, so that Marketing can create relevant campaigns, collateral and sales enablement
  • Professional Services (Operations) and Customer Support, to ensure they are informed and ready for new launches
  • Provide knowledge management, to handle customer trainings (internal training supported by PMM)
  • Bring together PMs and the relevant go-to-market teams to align on launch & adoption plans
  • Monitor Search solutions adoption and design appropriate remedies and alternative strategies to ensure Search solutions adoption targets for the region are being met

About the ideal candidate:

  • At least 10 years in product management or product marketing, commercial or pre-sales roles within the travel industry, preferably within the travel agency environment
  • Masters Degree (MBA or MSc), or Bachelor Degree with other relevant post-degree qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Good understanding of travel industry and Amadeus business and operating models. Developed internal network (ideally also external).
  • Must have strong knowledge of market dynamics and traveler behaviors
  • Good understanding of problem discovery, sales enablement, product lifecycle management, and product strategy is required.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office
  • English + additional Latam languages highly valued
