Services Solutions Principal - Azure
Position Overview
The Solution Principal (Azure focused )is the client advocate to analyze and design solutions and long-term strategies that support strategic client needs. They are responsible for assessing, designing, and leading the entire deal engagement lifecycle on complex services solutions across the entire Insight solutions service portfolio to meet our client's technology and business needs. Incumbents will be seen as the leading advisor to both account team and the solution project teams. In addition, the Solution Principal provides, training and technical support to other solution principals, architects and sales team members and service delivery as it pertains to the client solution.
What you will do at Insight:
- Understand Customer/Client challenges, align client challenges with service opportunities to create offerings and proposals
- Understand the portfolio of service offerings and articulate their value to clients and sales executives
- Guide the pre-sales qualification process with a CSD
- Perform discovery calls with clients to understand and document their desired outcomes
- Create pre-sales proposal decks with existing content or specialized content from Solutions architect
- Contribute to SOWs with appropriate assumptions, scope boundaries, etc.
- Work with Delivery and Sales leaders to approve proposed LoE /Pricing
- Finalize SOWs in Qorus
- Transition to delivery team, as required, to ensure service offering is well-understood and can be properly executed (in accordance with Insight delivery best practices)
- Work with customers in the pre-sales process to deliver Insight's value and capability and instill confidence in ability to execute
- Document wins / success stories to be shared with organization
- Collaborate with other Principals and Architects to drive Account Expansion ("Cross-sell" offerings)
- Participate with Portfolio team in build-out of service offerings, including:
- Delivery collateral
- Deliverable definition
- Assist with Sales collateral (solution briefs, PPTs, LoE/pricing model standards)
