Cloud and Network Services
Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia's enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.

The Solution Product Architect will be responsible for the location based solutions for the US and Canada markets. As an integral member of the Cloud Network Services (CNS) product management team, tasks will include a variety of product management responsibilities related to Location, E911, Next-Generation E911 and Emergency broadcast systems.
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
- Product PLM roles and responsibilities, including subject matter expert, defining product roadmaps, developing business cases, managing software releases, creating product/business presentation material for Nokia customers.
- Build product strategy and develop/track annual plans for product revenue.
- Work closely with customer sales team to define the new solution features for our customers.
- Regular engagement with R&D to ensure timely SW delivery that meets the quality KPI's for customer satisfaction.
- Develop product plans for migration from bare-metal to VNF (Cloud Virtual Network Function) and CNF (Cloud Native Function).
- Alignment of the NLS, MALS, WDS and BPT products with Nokia vision for containers and DevOps CI/CD. (supported via NCS, ZTS, Azure DevOps CI/CD etc)
- Ability to support LBS public/hybrid cloud models with AWS, Azure and Google.
- Support achievement of product life cycle milestones and business case milestones.
- Be an interface for roadmap, technical and access strategic issues, including definition of customer roadmaps, product commitments, and provide support to the commercial team for pre-/post-sales and new release rollout.
- Track and understand actual customer deployment status, feature and roadmap commitments and network evolution plans along with corresponding product opportunities for each customer.
- Analyze, plan, and provide input for RFP/RFQ/RFI requests and individual customer feature requests.
- Interact collaboratively with the development team on product/customer related features, functionalities, and field issues.
- Perform tactical product management functions. Prepare product/customer presentations and other messaging materials around product evolution.
- Defining and prioritizing product requirements based on customer input, product portfolio strategy, market trends, competitive intelligence and knowledge of applicable technologies.
- Writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
- Reviewing product requirements with engineering to refine feature capabilities to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and competitive differentiation while minimizing development effort to speed customer delivery.
- Meeting with customers, employees, partners and analysts to evangelize the product, to monitor the marketplace, and to remain at the forefront of product features and technology. Helping develop key accounts and key customers references to support the product and strategically important capabilities.
- Developing business cases for complex or significant proposals for the product line
- Contributing to the creation of sales/marketing plans and collateral: user documentation, competitive analysis, demos, presentations, whitepapers, case studies, value proposition messages, etc.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Strong quantitative and computer skills required.
- Ability to achieve results in a multifunctional, multisite, multinational organization.
- Very strong personal drive and the ability to achieve success with minimal supervision.
- Strong business acumen and ability to prioritize customer requirements.
- Experience in telecom product development environment and product life cycle management desired.
- Education: Relevant Technical Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 year experience in wireless Telecom multi-vendor integration projects.
- Good knowledge in 4G LTE, 3GPP & 5G.

- - SUPL Charging Function (SCF)
- - SUPL Service Management Function (SSMF)
- - SUPL Positioning Calculation Function (SPCF)
- - SUPL Assistance Delivery Function (SADF)
- - Assisted GPS (A-GPS)
- - Good understanding of NG-E911 architecture and call flows
- - Familiarity with emergency broadcast systems (BMC)
- - Nokia 1-NDS

- - MME, MSC/MSS, AMF, NRF, ELS, EIR etc.
