Cloud and Network Services

As a Solution Specialist Intern, you will work alongside a Global team of Expert Integrators/Solution Architects deep in the core of a customer's 5G mobile network. You will work with the latest software technologies including 5G architectures implemented on Native Cloud platforms. And to top it all, you will be exposed to a multicultural diverse team working towards a single objective - Nokia's Customer Success!
Education Recommendations
Currently a candidate for a master's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in the US.
What you will learn and contribute to
As a Solution Specialist Intern, we are looking for highly motivated self-starters who take the initiative to proactively Listen, Learn, Lead and Deliver
As part of our team, you will:
- Use your strong technical skills and aptitude to develop and deliver custom software tools and procedures to enable 5G feature enhancements and task automation in a customer's 5G Cloud network
- Comprehensively document accurate and detailed procedures that can be followed and executed by a customer with novice technical skills
- Provide troubleshooting support by tracing, log collection, and triaging lab issues.
- Communicate and provide frequent status updates and progress reports
What is Nokia looking for from me
You have:
- Strong technical aptitude with previous hands-on experience in software development and testing preferably targeted toward communication vendors 5G Cloud environment.
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrable proactive attitude and leadership
- Strong writing and documentation skills to develop MOPs (Method of Procedure) that describe complex technical software implementations to a customer audience.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Fluent and well-versed in Cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and related Native Cloud technologies.
