As a Senior Solutions Software Architect at CodeHunter you will play a critical lead role in the design, development, and maintenance of our core software application. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, learn new technologies, and make a significant impact on our product. Requirements

• Technical Leadership: Lead and guide a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of a highly resilient and scalable microservices Java/J2EE based system. Provide technical expertise and mentorship to DevOps and product Software Engineering team members.
• Architectural Design: Design and architect scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective microservice based software solutions. Leverage your expertise in JAVA, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Crossplane, Maven, Docker, Swagger, Hibernate, QueryDSL GraphQL etcto architect reliable, infrastructure as code (IaC) self-healing clusters and streamline the software development lifecycle using current software engineering best practices.
• CI/CD Infrastructure: Enhance our CI/CD infrastructure capabilities using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. Ensure efficient and automated deployment processes.
• Team Management: Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of software developers, QA, UX, and design professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging software technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE based systems to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
• Proven experience in AWS maintenance, configuration, and building high-availability clusters.
• Extensive expertise in Object-Oriented analysis and design, proficiency in design patterns, Java, and the Spring Framework.
• Proven track record in architecting scalable systems, with a robust understanding of the non-functional requirements and their impact on architecture design, encompassing all essential "ilities."
• CI/CD infrastructure design and optimization using Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team management, communication, and achieving business goals.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and inspire others.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies. (Jira)
