Solutions Architect
Job Description
The role of the Solutions Engineering team Architect is to provide invaluable insight and architectural guidance to our Solutions Engineering team developers as they plan and build products. They will also be involved in continuously helping to improve the Decisions platform.
Key Objectives
Objective #1: Ensure Best Practices are taught and maintained across projects
- Coordinate with other Architects at Decisions to understand overall best practices
- Document and communicate best practices with the Solutions Team
- Host peer review sessions to ensure best practices are being followed
- Complete graded code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed
- Coach Solutions Developers on the use of best practices
Objective #2: Act as a technical resource for the Development Team and Product Owners
- Assist the Product Owner in understanding technical requirements of user stories
- Create ERD for Possibilities
- Provide technical assistance to Developers during development of Possibilities
- Communicate technical requirements to the Scrum team and Stakeholders
Objective #3: Partner with the cross-functional teams to ensure that upsell solutions align with client needs and product capabilities
- Partner with the product and solutions teams to ensure that upsell solutions align with client needs and product capabilities
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted upsell campaigns, content, and collateral that resonate with clients
- Work closely with customer success and support teams to ensure seamless upsell execution and ongoing client satisfaction
Objective #4: Manage DTs and FRs from the Solutions Engineering Team to better the Decisions Platform
- Collect and prioritize DTs and FRs from Developers
- Communicate DT and FR priority for Product Releases
- Ensure DTs and FRs are being submitted by developers when defects are raised
- Communicate when DTs and FRs have been added to the product with the Solutions Team
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
