Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings):

Solutions Architect

Perform computer systems engineering duties to deliver Akamai software solutions to clients. Participate in requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and customer signoff. Implement, test, and deploy Akamai platform configurations to integrate customer websites with Akamai Intelligent Platform as well as create and execute test cases and scripts for customer solutions. Utilize Akamai's portfolio of security, media, downloads, mobile, and acceleration products to work on cutting edge technology in the cloud as well as participate on internal projects to diversify the group, implement best practices, and improve methodology and quality of integrations. Own the technical components of customer integration projects including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go live support. Integrate Akamai solutions with features such as caching, acceleration, security firewalls, DNS traffic management, software downloads, video delivery and more. Partner with business support, sales, engineering, product development and customer care to resolve issues that arise during customer trials, integrations, or post-implementation support. Accurately scope implementation timelines for integrations. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. Review technical configurations to ensure quality and accuracy of requirements. Required Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must Have: Three (3) years of experience in the following skills: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, APIs, Selenium, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, and OS virtualization.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $99091-$127752/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
