Your Mission

Make a huge impact by joining SADA as our Location Intelligence Solutions Architect. SADA Is the number one Google Maps Platform Partner in the world. You’ll work closely with our Location Intelligence Go-To-Market leader to help shape the global strategy for our Location Intelligence Solutions Practice.  You’ll be customer-facing and will align with technical leaders at businesses across the globe to help shape how they use Google Maps APIs & other 3rd Party Geospatial Platforms to drive business outcomes. 

You’ll drive end customer technical environment discovery sessions,  scoping conversations, create statements of work & reference architectures, in an effort to sell through SADA  Professional Services & Application Development. Helping to enable our customers’ to achieve their desired end states and business outcomes .

Expectations

• Required Travel - 10-30% travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events. 
• Customer Facing - You will interact with customers on a regular basis. Common touchpoints occur during discovery and scoping of opportunities, at project kickoff, throughout the engagement, at project close, and other opportunities that drive value for the customer and in turn, for SADA. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives.
• Training - The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for technical aspects of solutions to include supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting application development resources.
• Facilitate RFI/RFP responses. Help the business to perform pricing and goals estimations and construct agreements.
• Work with 3rd Party Geospatial API products to demonstrate and prototype integrations. Design and implement solutions using products including Google Maps API, Google Maps Mobile SDKs, and other Google mapping solutions.
• Maintain on-going technical relationships with strategic customers, conducting technical reviews, filing bugs and feature requests, monitoring, and ensuring proper usage reporting.
• Identify, scope, and execute relevant customer trials and/or proof of concepts through requirements discovery, success criteria determination and prototype integrations, and best practice guidance. 
• Identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical impediments.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or equivalent practical experience.

Required Qualifications: 

• 10  years of experience in a technical sales developer or customer-facing role (e.g., professional services, sales developer, or solutions architecture).
• Experience in web, mobile, or cloud application development (i.e., Java, JavaScript, HTML5, etc.).
• Experience mapping application development and integration, using Google Maps platform or other Location/Maps platforms on web or mobile platforms (i.e. Android).
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required.

Useful Qualifications:

• Experience in a program/project management role in consulting, software development, systems integration, or systems developer.
• Experience in cloud platform development.
• Experience in Internet of Things, smart cities, urban mobility, transport and logistics, AR/Virtual Reality, or machine learning.
• Understanding of solution architecture within web and mobile environments.
• Ability to write and present at industry events to present SADA product offerings paired with excellent written and presentation skills.
