Solutions Architect

About the role As one of the Solutions Architects at Afresh, you will be responsible for leading our technical integrations with our retailer partners. You will build effective partnerships with our customers' IT teams to drive the success of our end-to-end integrations. Internally, you will partner closely with a Deployment Lead on all integrations, establish mutually agreed upon ways of working, remain in constant communication remaining in sync on all project updates. Additionally, you'll work cross-functionally, contribute to the playbook for our team and be a key stakeholder in the continued development and improvement of our integration processes so we can perform successful implementations with future customers at an even larger scale.

You have technical and customer-facing experience, love driving projects to completion in a fast-paced environment, and are excited to reduce fresh food waste in the grocery industry!

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute successful integrations with our partners
• Deeply understand our customers' IT systems and data outputs and how these map to the Afresh solution to provide maximum value
• Create detailed, actionable technical specifications that enables teams across Afresh to understand and execute on the technical integration of our customers’ data
• Perform data validations to ensure that we receive complete and accurate data from the customer and that we understand and integrate it correctly
• Work cross functionally across Afresh's teams to drive the technical integration and build consensus, including work with our Executive, Engineering, Product, Support, Customer Success, and Sales teams
• Serve as the liaison between Afresh’s teams and our partners IT teams
• Capture learnings and best practices from technical integration efforts to create a sustainable, replicable playbook for future implementations
• Identify and implement ways to improve Afresh & our team’s processes as we build our work together
• Leverage dashboard tools, such as Mode, to build charts/graphs serving to represent various customer data scenarios.
• Knowledge of DBT transformation workflow is helpful, not required
• Lead cross-functional work across Afresh's engineering teams to manage the integration process and meet project timelines.

What skills or experience do you need?

• 5+ years experience in product implementations/integrations (SaaS preferred)
• 3+ years experience managing client relationships
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion
• Experience in grocery or retail industry preferred
• Experience as technical SME within the sales process preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective project management experience
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Mode other dash-boarding tools. Python proficiency preferable.
• Open to travel (10-25%)
