Solutions Architect

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team. This is a full-time position and can be remote.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering strategic systems engineering solutions for business operations, software development, and system implementations aligned with federal client goals
• Technical requirement gathering/analysis/discovery to ensure client interests are met, and potential business opportunities are established
• Collaborate with Capture, BD, and Operations to uncover and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs and goals
• Work directly with Proposal staff to support the development of solutions and technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
• Stay current with existing and emerging technologies best fitting business needs
• Contribute to the success of our Center of Excellence by providing technical support and facilitating growth and innovation
• Engaged in technical oral presentations and client demos
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect/Systems Engineer, or in a similar role, in the Federal Government space.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
