Solutions Architect

At Airtable, we are passionate about how our product democratizes software creation and empowers anyone to “create anything.” Airtable’s Solution Architects scope and design solutions for Enterprise clients that reduce their time to value, increase their product sophistication, and set them up for long-term success with our platform. 

As a member of our Professional Services organization, you’ll partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSM) and Implementation Specialists (IS) to scope, manage and deliver client implementations. You’ll work with our clients to understand their requirements, visually map complex processes, and create implementation plans that allow them to work more purposefully and efficiently with their IS and CS partners. As an early member of our Professional Services Team, you’ll also play a key role in shaping key processes and organizational structure as we scale.  

• Engage with pre-sales and post-sales partners to understand and scope advanced, custom and paid services engagements
• Deeply understand and clearly document complex workflow requirements to ensure seamless handoff to Implementation Specialists or Partners to build
• Create solution design and implementation plan documents that outline project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Validate proposed solution and project plan with customer before handing off to an IS for execution
• Debrief with IS following completion of scoped engagements to capture feedback 
• Respond to customer feedback; mitigate objections with sound counsel and relay any product improvements to the right Airtable cross-functional partners

Who you are

• You have 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing capacity, ideally in an SA or IS role in the software space, but we are open-minded about transferable roles and experiences
• You can clearly communicate complex technical topics to a general audience
• You are confident in recommending and executing the best practices for the implementation of Saas solutions; previous experience with Airtable is not required but very welcome!
• You are well-versed in database design best practices
• You exhibit strong project management expertise and an ability to set realistic timelines
• You are able to prioritize and influence customer priorities (including pushing back on customers when needed)
• You are a highly collaborative team player who adapts when working cross functionally
• You are able to operate in ambiguity 
• You have an expansive understanding of the full operation of a Services organization

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills and experience. The base salary range for this role is $110,925 to $191,475 for work locations in California (SF-Bay & LA), NY (NYC only) and Washington (Seattle only). Our total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
