Solutions Architect

Astor & Sanders is a leading IT solutions provider based in McLean, VA. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. This is a full-time remote position, with occasional onsite meetings in Washington, DC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Solutions Architect will be responsible for the architecture and design of applications developed or modified under the contract. The role requires expertise in multi-tier architecture, integration of commercial software products, and custom code development within the .NET Framework, AWS Native Services, SQL Server, C#, and Microsoft PowerPlatform.
• Integrate commercial software products and custom code in a multi-tier architecture.
• Review and optimize existing systems, making recommendations for improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture and design.
• Expertise in .NET Framework, AWS Native Services, SQL Server, C#, and Microsoft PowerPlatform.
• Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with Agile frameworks in dynamic development environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification preferred.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification preferred.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
