Solutions Architect - Japan

About the Role:

As a Solutions Architect, your primary responsibility will be to drive impactful technical engagements with our key customers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and services. You will play a crucial role in establishing efficient, repeatable processes and developing technical resources that address customer needs. Your expertise and active participation in the open-source community will position you as a key technical leader, fostering strong, long-term relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities within the user community.

What you will do:

• Drive and manage technical engagements with key customers to deliver top-notch solutions and services that meet their unique needs.
• Establish repeatable processes and best practices to enhance the efficiency and success rate of customer projects, ensuring seamless delivery.
• Create technical resources, including tutorials, white papers, and tools, to support customer needs and ensure they gain maximum value from our solutions.
• Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key clients, while proactively identifying new opportunities within the user community.
• Provide comprehensive support to key users/clients throughout the entire process—from trial and testing to full production deployment—ensuring a smooth and successful journey.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure software pre-sales, architecture, or DevOps roles.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, databases, and machine learning.
• Familiarity with the technology landscape and customer base in Japan is a plus.
• Experience with open-source communities and a solid understanding of open-source principles is highly desirable.
• A collaborative team player who is optimistic, responsible, and excellent at communication. You should be someone who enjoys helping others and working together towards common goals.
• A quick learner with a passion for tackling challenges, coupled with the decisiveness to make informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, characteristic of a dynamic startup company.
• Written and verbal fluency in Japanese and English
