This is where you come in! We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Solutions Architect (open to level) on the ThinQ Team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey!

Position Summary

LG Electronics has established its strong ground in US consumer electronics markets based on continuous innovations and product quality appreciated by US consumers. With an endeavoring effort to better serve customers at home with efficiency and convenience enabled by its AI/IoT innovations, the company is developing platform services via its connected devices and ThinQ platform. This is where you come in.

We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Solutions Architect on the ThinQ Team! We partner with third parties and other teams across the business to ideate, develop, launch and grow digital services in conjunction with LG's products. The right person for this role thrives in a dynamic environment, loves problem-solving, and is a good communicator; transforming ideas into integrated solutions.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for software and data architecture and development lifecycle process that translates business requirements into functioning software systems, services, and solutions aligned to the ThinQ's US services portfolio.

This role will require a strong knowledge of the combination of cloud software development, data architecture and systems implementation. This role is crafting technical solutions to complex business needs and requires the ability to work across multiple systems that form the solution

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and drive the technical vision for IoT/AI Platform based on 1P & 3P data.• Engage with multiple teams both inside and outside the ThinQ Platform Team to work on the execution of the technical vision and develop a digital product/service.• Drive architecture as a discipline within our group.• Detail out and refine higher-level architecture decisions into a lower-level executional design.• Have an eye for challenges arising at the seams and cracks of different technologies.• Build strong, collaborative relationships with our partner organizations, helping to align our technical efforts with external needs.• Clearly and crisply communicate architectural decisions, plans, and standards for the products we create and support.• Proactively support and Implement processes for database code deployment and synchronization across environments.• Report on metrics associated with the services and programs and in relation to the quarterly and annual objectives.• Coordinate and effectively communicate across internal and external teams inclusive on progress status, roadblocks and mitigation plans.

Job Requirements:

• Solid knowledge and 8 years design and implementation experience across cloud computing, data architecture, digital product development and systems integration.• Hands-on expertise in enterprise technology applications architecture, design, development and support.• Track record of delivering successful solutions as a leader.• Clear understanding of software design patterns and principles.• Worked with a variety of languages and platforms such as Javascript, Typescript, Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, Salesforce, APEX, as well as SQL and noSQL databases, and any integrations needed for these systems.• Strong communication skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills and experience presenting to diverse audiences. • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.• Korean language skills a plus.
