Solutions Consultant
Job Description
The Solutions Consultant, reporting to the Manager of Sales Enablement, will serve as the connective tissue between Sales and Operations to understand the needs of our customers, strategize sales cycles, serve as subject matter experts, and close business. Solutions Consultant will work closely with both Sales and Operations to provide day-to-day support in contract/proposal edits and maintaining various resources to ensure information is accurate and up to date. The Solutions Consultant will also help facilitate projects based on leadership direction with a primary goal of exceeding established sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, prospects, and customers, providing the voice of confidence and competence on sales calls
- Make it easy to do business internally between Sales and Operations
- Diagnose customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Act as the liaison between prospects or customers and internal subject matter experts
- Lead by example to support technical pre-sales activities and post-sales technical consultations to achieve monthly sales goals
- Enforce pricing integrity and sales policy as required
- Complete Requests For Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and timely manner
- Facilitate cross functional projects through a detailed project charter to drive revenue
- Coordinate internal resources to support sales training initiatives
Requirements:
- Prefer BS/BA or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years combined experience in sales, sales engineering, technology management, project management, customer success, or other customer-facing roles
- PMP certifications a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to discover and understand the needs of Agility's existing and potential customers, translating their needs into a partnership solution to allow Agility to meet customer needs more comprehensively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure clear communication to all stakeholders and accurate proposals that reflect the appropriate solutions and pricing
- Strong work ethic and ownership to be responsive to sales and customer requests
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the drive to find answers to complex problems, even when an answer is not obvious
- Excellent time management, project management, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in using sales tools such as salesforce.com, MS Office, Email and identifying additional tools to improve sales activity and results
