Solutions Consultant - FP&A (Product Implementation)
Job Description
Team: Finance
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Consultant - FP&A (Product Implementation) in United Kingdom.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, data architecture, and product implementation, focusing on translating complex financial planning needs into scalable technical solutions. You will work closely with Account Executives and finance leaders to design, build, and deploy proof-of-concept and pilot implementations within a modern FP&A platform. The position requires deep engagement with CFOs and finance teams, helping them reimagine planning, forecasting, and decision-making through data-driven systems. You will move beyond traditional consulting into hands-on solution building, including financial modeling, data structuring, and system configuration. Acting as both a technical expert and financial advisor, you will help prospects understand and unlock the full value of advanced planning tools. This is a highly impactful role in a fast-paced, product-led environment where finance meets technology.
Accountabilities:
- Design, build, and configure proof-of-concept and pilot implementations within the FP&A platform to address complex financial planning challenges.
- Partner with CFOs and finance leaders to translate business requirements into scalable technical and financial models.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to identify gaps in existing planning systems and define modern, data-driven solutions.
- Develop and present tailored financial models during technical workshops, mapping business logic and data flows in real time.
- Support data architecture design, including guidance on structuring ERP, CRM, and HRIS data for optimal FP&A performance.
- Act as a bridge between customers and internal product/engineering teams by providing feedback on platform functionality and modeling capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to demonstrate product value and support deal progression through technical expertise.
- Strong background in finance, accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance, ideally with CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in EPM implementation, solution consulting, or technical finance roles.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, including planning, forecasting, consolidation, and scenario analysis.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major EPM platform (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Planful, TM1, Vena, Jedox, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of data structures, including schemas, dimensions, and multidimensional modeling concepts.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational requirements into scalable system logic.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage and influence senior finance stakeholders, including CFOs.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments with shifting priorities and high ownership expectations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Remote-first working model with flexibility across the United Kingdom.
- Opportunity to work directly with CFOs and senior finance leaders on high-impact transformation projects.
- Exposure to cutting-edge FP&A and data-driven planning technologies.
- High autonomy and ownership in a fast-growing, product-led environment.
- Strong learning and development opportunities across finance, data, and SaaS implementation.
- Collaborative, transparent, and innovation-driven culture.
- Opportunity to shape how modern financial planning systems are designed and deployed.
