- No quotas or cold calling, support technical sales assignments while receiving strong compensation incentives for your valuable technical insights and contributions
- Provided tools and training to elevate your performance and be an industry and product specialist
- Exposure to innovative software through webinars, tradeshows, product releases and more as a SmartBear technology thought leader
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations for our leading API tools SwaggerHub and ReadyAPI
- Assist prospects with technical POCs of our products
- Help Sales qualify a prospect and match our products to the customers’ needs
- Provide technical troubleshooting to prospects and display the value of our products
- Respond to product usage questions from prospects via email/chat
- Provide technical insight for the Marketing team and assist in content creation and presenting on webinars with Marketing
- Travel to industry events to represent SmartBear and occasionally visit prospects and customers (Up to 10% travel)
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey feature requests and new requirements to the Product Management team
- Work with the Customer Adoption team to help technical onboarding of key clients
- Learn new technology quickly and independently
- Train new Sales team members on values of our products
- Technical degree or related experience
- 2+ years of experience presenting and/or working with technical concepts
- API Documentation or development experience
- Experience working with API test automation and related tooling
- Worked directly with customers or internal clients to resolve technical problems
- Development experience in one or more of the following languages – Groovy, Javascript, or Python
- Experience in software development, quality automation, performance monitoring, or other software quality related fields is great to have
- Ability to travel (no more than 5% of the time)
- Authorized to work in the United States
