Solutions Engineer

As the Solutions Engineer reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the Technology team, as well as other stakeholders, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Support the team by learning and understanding the customer requirement
• Help to drive the delivery of the customer solution and product through the complete data centre cycle
• Support translating customer requirements into key design projects of our data centres in the APAC region and in preparing presentations to customers and executives.

Your Day to Day

• Manage RFP proposal and deliver key technical / engineering documents.
• Review and analyze RFP to understand Customer requirements.
• Provide support in production of key technical and sales collateral – High Level M&E Schematic and Technical presentation materials
• Assist in high-level space planning and engineering solutions for our customers
• Involved in pioneering various engineering solutions relating to design, calculations and other engineering aspects
• Assist in the development of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Support in preparing pitch decks, presentation packs and collateral for customers and executives
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
• Participate in proposal presentations and discussions with Customer as needed.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 2 - 5years experience in Solution Engineering leading RFP is preferred, experienced in buildings design is an advantage.
• Fluent in MS Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and good knowledge of BlueBeam and Basic AutoCad
• Basic knowledge of CFD is an advantage but not required – this only applies if you’re mechanical trade
• Analytical mindset
• Good technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
• Willing to learn, good attitude and proactive
