Job Description

You will be part of our founding sales team and have the opportunity to help build our technical sales function from the ground up. As a founding member of the sales organization, you will be responsible for the pre-sales technical aspects of all new client implementations. You will become a technical expert in the card issuance and acquiring spaces and develop a deep understanding of the Highnote platform.

What you’ll be doing

  • Participate in sales interactions which include introductory calls and leading demonstrations of our product.
  • Gather requirements, build flow diagrams, and derive creative solutions for each customer
  • Partner with the product team to track and follow product requests through to delivery
  • Own internal status reporting to Highnote leadership team on all new and early stage implementations
  • Complete documentation review of new features being released to our customersĀ 
  • Test all new feature releases prior to customer releases

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical expertise
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
  • Proficiency and experience in web API’s
  • Ability to understand highly complex technology and be a liaison between our technical teams and our customersĀ 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with customers
  • Ownership mindset - caring about seeing projects through from start to finish
  • An entrepreneurial and ā€˜getting-things-done’ mindset focused on delivering results

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using web API tools such as Postman, Insomnia, or Apollo Studio
  • Experience interfacing with a GraphQL APIĀ

  • At Highnote we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, geo-based compensation that is performance and potential based. Our compensation packages are competitive based on robust market research and are a combination of a cash salary, equity, and benefits. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual salary range for applicants is $160,000-210,000.Ā 

Please note that positions located in San Francisco are hybrid and include core working days of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.Ā  We provide flexible work options based on distance from our downtown SF office.
