We are currently seeking talented engineers who are passionate about product development, building large scale, high availability systems for enterprise life science clients. We are one of the largest privately owned companies in the U.S. Our e-clinical platform, Trial Interactive, is used by some of the top global CROs and Sponsors to run hundreds of global studies.

An ideal candidate should have a solid knowledge of web application development, SOA, how web services work, how to troubleshoot application issues in a multi-tiered system and SQL scripting. Understanding of how MS SQL server works is a plus. Knowledge of the e-clinical solutions industry is preferred. The candidate should have great oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work with many teams within the company such as client services, clinical operations, sales, and development.

o Have a good understanding of web application architectures

o Have a good understanding of software development life cycles

Desired Skills:

o Experience working in different phases of the software development life cycle

o Strong problem-solving skills, especially in the context of troubleshooting web applications

o Have a solid understanding of RDBMS systems (MSSQL, MySQL)

o Experience in effectively working with external and internal clients to gather and organize user requirements, user stories, use cases

o Perform in-depth analysis of existing data, quality assurance based on requested criteria from clinical operations team

o Perform production server maintenance, new version deployments for applications

o Experience with creating user interface prototypes mockups (knowledge of any wire framing software is a plus)

o Experience working with Linux OS

o Experience working in a virtualized environment is a plus

o Knowledge of Apache Tomcat is a plus

o Knowledge of Nginx is a plus

o Knowledge of Jasper Reporting is a plus

o Knowledge of CAS Federation is a plus

o Experience in web application development is a plus
