Solutions Engineer
Job Description
We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services team!
The Solutions Engineer role at IAS encompasses proposal development and deal shaping in tandem with Sales and Business Development, and sees clients through deployment and go-live lifecycle of a partnership. Internally, the position requires cross-team collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Professional Services, Product, Data Science and Engineering teams, along with frequent interactions with the IAS marketing team. Externally, the position requires constant interaction with the same teams on the client side as the technical expert responsible for aligning partner goals with IAS solutions and business strategy. This is an individual contributor position where you will work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as pre-sales consultant by understanding the client needs, goals, and gathering client requirements
- Turn client needs into a scalable solution using Integral’s product offerings
- Manage day-to-day technical relationships with all players of the ad tech ecosystem during sales conversations, integration and preliminary post integration testing
- Closely interface with internal Sales, Account Management, Business Development, Professional Services, Product, Data Science and Engineering teams as well as the partner counterparts in similar roles
- Provide technical expertise during integration lifecycle, including troubleshooting integration related issues, reporting discrepancies, and implementation concerns
- Review and test integrations to ensure proper implementation
- Closely work with client services team to ensure comprehensive account transitions after integrations are complete
- Become subject matter expert in Integral’s product offerings and be able to explain all technical aspects of products to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience in a tech ops or ad ops role at an online media company or digital agency
- 1-2 years' solutions/sales engineering experience, preferably within the advertising technology space
- Deep knowledge of ad serving technology, including but not limited to RTB, Header Bidding, VPAID, Mobile SDK, API
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem
- Proficiency working with large data sets
- Positive, professional demeanor and experience working in a client-oriented setting (internal or external)
- Proficiency with HTML, Javascript, SQL, MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with UNIX systems and the Command Line Interface
- Experience coding for fun is a bonus!
- BS/BA or equivalent in computer science, business, or a related technology field
New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $100,466 - $172,228 actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
