DESCRIPTIONÂ
As a Solutions Engineer at Parlance, you deliver meaningful results through a partnership with the customer that spans the full solution lifecycle; pre-sales to implementation to optimization and future growth. You will be supported by a knowledgeable team of solutions engineers and software developers to learn and leverage knowledge of contact centers, speech recognition, human factors, and voice user interfaces to build and manage solutions for our customers.
Some of the responsibilities of a Solutions Engineer include the following:Â
- Collect customer requirements for use of the Parlance solution, design solution dialogs as well as implement applications to meet customer requirements (80%)
- Analyze performance and take actions to improve solution performanceÂ
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that ariseÂ
- Participate in ongoing learning activitiesÂ
- Demonstrate the Parlance solution elements and value to customers and prospective customers (5%)
- This position is full-time and can be remote within the contiguous US. Come join us in transforming customer experiences.Â
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- 3-5Â years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise/SaaS software and infrastructure solutionsÂ
- Bachelor's degree is ideal (will consider additional work experience in lieu of)Â
- Experience in a customer-facing roleÂ
- Healthcare domain experience is highly desiredÂ
- Ability to listen well to understand our customer’s objectivesÂ
- Ability to explain “technical stuff” to sometimes non-technical stakeholdersÂ
- Can interact with customers by delivering high levels of customer service via video, phone, email, text channels, and on-site with the customerÂ
- Can identify, own, and resolve issues impacting the solution and then, document how you fixed itÂ
- Experience across multiple OS including Linux and (Windows and/or macOS) a plusÂ
- Ability to travel up to 20%, as business travel resumesÂ
- Good organizational skills to manage work across multiple projectsÂ
- Work must be performed in the United States (ET, CT, MT, PT) and you must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States. Parlance will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.Â

The compensation and benefits package at Parlance is designed to put people first:
- This role is budgeted at $60K - $70K
- Comprehensive health care for you and your family
