Solutions Engineer, Accounting Specialist

ServiceTitan's Sales team plays a critical role in showing potential customers the value our software can deliver to their respective business. This is not a one-person feat - it takes an extraordinary team with our Solutions Engineering team being a vital component.
We are looking to bring on a talented Accounting Specialist Solutions Engineer who can help ServiceTitan acquire new customers by utilizing a harmonic blend of sales skills, technical software expertise, accounting expertise, and deep understanding of our customers' business processes. A successful candidate must be able to distill complex information and concepts into simple to understand and practical business context for the prospect in both an empathetic and articulate manner. You are motivated by complex technical challenges and are determined to solve them while working with cross functional partners to ensure there is alignment in presenting the best solutions for our customers.
This role will be based in either Atlanta, GA, Los Angeles, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, or remote.
What you'll do:

• Partner with the Sales team to lead custom product demonstrations of accounting specific functionality and integrations with leading accounting packages (Quickbooks, Intaact, NetSuite, etc.), based upon business process and workflow of potential customers
• Analyze and provide objective feedback for Account Executives if prospective customers are compatible with the recommended product and/or features
• Consult potential customers on the transition process adopting new operations software as well as associated accounting software, and the impacts to financial workflows and reporting
• Reposition customer objections by providing creative workflow solutions based upon deep knowledge of ServiceTitan's software as well as accounting package partners and the advantages of our product versus the competition
• Collaborate with stakeholders in R&D, Sales, and Professional Services on product roadmap strategy and onboarding/implementation best practices, to scale customer acquisition and revenue activation
• Create and maintain Accounting enablement content geared towards to Sales org
• Maintain and update industry specific scripts for the internal team to use during demo's
• Create clear documentation and approach for delivery to the implementation team
• Be the subject matter expert on any Accounting related product updates and/or releases to address any potential implications for business owners

What you'll need:

• 3-5 years of management experience within an Accounting Department (CFO, VP of Accounting, VP of Finance, Controller, etc)
• Experience implementing accounting packages
• Experience working within a Trades Business
• Familiarity with Construction Accounting concepts a plus

• Proven track record of success within or assisting the Sales organization at previous company
• Natural ability to think and act proactively to address roadblocks and issues
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with a group of people
• A desire to constantly learn and apply these learnings into your day to day
