Solutions Engineer Executive Advisor

Job Description:

*Atlanta, GA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH or Indianapolis, IN preferred but will consider other locations as the position can work remotely, in the office or a combination of both.

Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
• Leads efforts with Web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products.
• Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
• Develops and owns list of final enhancements.
• Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.
• Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
• Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
• Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
• Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process.
• Reviews and monitors initiatives for end to end impact and coordination.
• Participates in review and decision making for enterprise solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study
• Minimum of 9 years experience working on business and technical multi platforms applications;
• Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to design, deploy ML pipeline for Near Real time and Batch processing
• Able to architect containerized applications
• Experience and working knowledge of Cloud, preferably GCP, AWS
• Should know NLP techniques, Parallelization techniques.
• Design , implement and deliver insights data pipeline supporting analytic products across the organization
• Design and Integrate data from different sources
• Perform forms analytics platform components and/or processing components required to provide business solutions
• Engage with business stakeholders to design and own end-to-end solutions to empower data driven decision making
• Leverage data, technology and quantitative methods to form products that inject analytics and insights into daily workflow of teams
• Define application scope and objectives , including impact to interfaces
• Ensure appropriate data testing is completed and meets test plan requirements
• Coordinate integration actions to ensure successful implementation
• Mentor Data Science Sol Consultants
• Administer analytical projects and pilots for tool upgrades
• Interpret big data/analytic projects that integrate large volumes of data , perform analysis and recommend actionable insights

• Databases - Hive, MongoDB, SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB
• Storage - HDFS, S3
• Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes knowledge (OpenShift, GKE, EKS), Quay, Grafana
• Knowledge of Devops tools - DataDog, Splunk, Snyk, Prisma Cloud Compute
