POSITION: Solutions Engineer II, Incremental Sales

JOB DUTIES: Work collaboratively with the sales teams to define Boomi solutions for customers and make presentations on all aspects of the company's portfolio. Qualify sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding. Prepare and present detailed designs, product specifications to customers and management to sell high-end product and solutions. Align with other sales engineers, leaders or multi-functional technical groups to ensure consistent approach and application. Verify compatibility of product and service solutions within the customer's environment. Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products and services to meet customer needs. Prepare detailed product specifications for the purpose of selling high end product and solutions. Conduct customer needs analysis. Provide project scoping. Coordinate internal specialists and inter-department activities. Assist sellers in creating demand for product. Possess a high degree of technical competency to respond to customer needs and to discuss product capabilities and applications with technical users/buyers. Customarily and regularly engage at client facilities and deliver high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills. Gain access and manage relationships with customer technical staff and Help Desk functions. Assess and verify approach/method to selling enterprise/client products and services. Articulate characteristics of the customer's current environment. Understand, analyze and apply industry and market knowledge. Understand and articulate third-party and/or Channel's role to create and position Boomi solution. Can work remotely.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in engineering (any), Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and two years of experience in the offered position, software engineering, sales engineering, or related occupation. Requires experience with: API Management; SOAP/REST; Web Services; Database management and query language; various data and file types (json, flat file, db and edifact); and Basic Javascript.
