Solutions Engineer III

As a Solution Engineer III in Capital Group Private Client Services, you will have the opportunity to get engaged with the entire Wealth Management lifecycle and capabilities: Client/Advisor Portal, Client onboarding/servicing, Financial planning & Asset allocation, Portfolio Management, Order management & trading, Accounting & Results. As part of the technology team, you'll have the unique opportunity to enable Capital's business by delivering competitive business advantages through technology innovation, superior execution and providing stable systems & services.

We're looking for individuals with a nimble mindset, who'll play the role of end-to-end solution owner starting with collaborating with our business partners, leading the design, implementation & solution delivery, using best of breed technologies.

• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
• You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, being part of a team building applications using .Net, Java, Python, ReactJS or similar technologies
• You have an affinity for data, are fluent in SQL and preferably have experience with data visualization/data manipulation tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Alteryx, etc
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adjust communication approach & style to accommodate a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
• You have the business acumen and analytical abilities to understand & translate business objectives into clearly defined requirements and functional specifications
• Knowledge of asset management and wealth management is a plus
• Prior experience with order & trade management platform is a plus
• You have a mindset for driving change and innovation. You introduce innovative ideas that push boundaries and challenge the status quo when needed.
• You can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity & drive for results, ultimately taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
