This role sits at the intersection of cloud technology, Kubernetes optimization, and technical pre-sales, supporting customers in achieving maximum efficiency and performance across their Kubernetes environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, working closely with Account Executives to understand complex customer needs and translate them into clear, high-value solutions. The position is highly customer-facing, combining deep technical expertise with strong communication and business acumen. You will lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical validations that directly influence strategic purchasing decisions. With a strong focus on cloud cost optimization and automation, you will help organizations unlock measurable value from their infrastructure. This is a dynamic, remote-first role within a fast-growing global environment where innovation and technical excellence are key.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with Account Executives to conduct deep technical discovery sessions, understanding customer Kubernetes environments, challenges, and optimization goals.
- Lead and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs), ensuring successful technical validation and clear demonstration of product value.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that highlight key capabilities and address customer-specific use cases.
- Develop compelling business cases and ROI models that clearly communicate cost savings and performance improvements.
- Serve as the technical expert for Kubernetes optimization solutions, guiding customers through evaluation and adoption processes.
- Own the technical win by addressing customer requirements, resolving objections, and building confidence in the solution.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences through presentations and technical showcases.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to internal reporting tools to track performance and engagement metrics.
- 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar technical customer-facing role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes ecosystems (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and DevOps/Platform Engineering practices.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments and tools focused on observability, optimization, FinOps, or platform engineering.
- Experience working with monitoring and data tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to build ROI models and business cases based on technical data and product insights.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing technical purchasing decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Prior experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or FinOps roles is highly desirable.
