Solutions Engineering Manager Senior
Job Description
As the Senior Solutions Engineering Manager, you will oversee the Equity Trading Technologies team. You will have oversight of a team of 3 managers, 17 associates, and 36 vendor partners (numbers may vary over time), and you will be responsible for guiding the team through the cloud migration, including the implementation of a vendor cloud SaaS solution.
You will proactively foster strong relationships with the leadership of the EQ Trading Business, including with the head of trading, regional managers, the head of the Market and Transaction Research team, and the Global Trading COO. You are a thought leader with an in-depth understanding of EQ Trading business, including broker routing, algorithmic trading, market structure and microstructure, price formation and exchange price feeds, and local market nuances.

- You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- You can work effectively with business stakeholders and provide thought leadership
- You bring new ideas to light and are comfortable sharing them with others
- You have proven experience (preferably 10 years or more) with equity trading technologies and a strong understanding of how the technology can be leveraged to optimize equity trading practices
- You are a player-coach and are deeply invested in associate development and fostering a positive culture
- You have prior experience in guiding a team with cloud migration and implementation of a vendor cloud SaaS solution
- You possess the business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with your team and with the leadership team.
- You have extensive technology vendor management. You've led technology direction, guidance, and oversight of vendor solutions and integrations
Southern California Base Salary Range: $184,252-$313,228
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
