We are actively looking for a Measurement Solutions Technical Lead, who is a "team player" with a positive & enthusiastic attitude, with a flexible approach to work, whilst being able to work on their own initiative when required, who have an appetite for self-development and career advancement, and the ability to travel at short notice This challenging role requires the individual to be proactive and flexible in their work pattern in order to meet the demands of the business and those of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide specialist system support and technical guidance for a wide range of measurement, instrumentation and automation Solutions. Such solutions may involve third party as well as partner products and systems
  • Establish strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels Research into and collect data to understand specific opportunities, issues &/or problems
  • Travel to & attend customer offices & sites, as required, to survey or audit facilities &/or infrastructure to provide reports on condition or options for development
  • Actively develop and execute business development and consultancy functions in support of the IMS Team and
  • Sales organizationsPrepare business proposals and presentations.
  • Present findings & recommendations - internal and to clients.
  • Participate in the development of IMS strategy within DASS, work with Sales functions in Mexico, liaise with Local Partner(s), Distributor(s), as well as with Execution, Delivery and Project Management functions
  • Tracking of market activity and competitive positions
  • To have & develop strong connections with the Metrological and standards entities in Western Hemisphere

Minimum requirements:

  • An Engineering Degree or similar qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a senior customer-facing technical position.
  • Extensive experience in engineering design within the Measurement, safety, control and instrumentation environment within the Oil & Gas and other industries.
  • Computer literate, with experience of PC-based word-processing, spreadsheet and database programs and operating systems (Windows 10, 7, 2000, XP, 20XX Server, SQL)
  • Extensive knowledge including Installation, Test, Operation and support of Measurement Solutions, associated Instrumentation & automation together with knowledge of national regulations and standards Wide knowledge of the Petroleum Industry and understanding of (changing) business drivers.
  • Have knowledge and participation in business planning, tender sales process and customer relationship management

Spanish speaking is preferable
