Duties and Responsibilties:
- Running and explaining Multivariate regression, regularized linear models, unsupervised learning model, convolution networks to ensure the business question is modelled correctly in the predictive and prescriptive space and explaining the model so as to enable data-based decision making.
- Utilizing SAS, SQL, R, or Python programming and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, MLib, or TensorFlow along with NLP libraries such as NLTK and Gensim allowing to model structured and unstructured data to solve business problems at hand.
- Implementing big data and relational and nosql database and use SQL or any other querying language to extract and munge data.
- Apply data engineering skills in a client environment through coding deliverables, and data visualization skills through report deliverables in Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire.
- Apply data analytics skills in a client environment through analytics deliverables.
- Develops User Stories or PBIs in client tooling to support solution delivery.
- Maintain productivity when blocked, proactively identify issues and risks that will impact personal velocity.
- Ability to scope deliverable development, identify risk and issues, and estimated time to completion.
- Determines the impact of requirements on PROD deployment (security, deployment methodologies, etc.) in planning deliverable timelines.
- Works with Solution Managers to understand project profitability.
- GTM Research at the direction of the Solution Manager.
- Works with teams, either in waterfall or SCRUM, to take a project to production.
- Works as a team member or a dev/team to own the more complex business processes and lead to take the project to completion by deploying it to PROD.
- Offer expertise in cloud based technologies such as AWS, GCP, Databricks or Azure that the client wants to use.
