Overview
Our organization continues to grow and as part of that, we're planning to hire a Solutions Manager. In this role, you will lead medium to large projects across our organization from a Development/Solutions perspective. You will collaborate with key technology stakeholders and business partners in defining project scope, interpreting requirements and determining/defining the proper technical approach/solution. Ideally you're highly skilled in communicating with technical teams and business stakeholders, understands how to use technology to solve today's business challenges, and has a well-rounded understanding of the various components of an enterprise IT environment.
How you'll make an impact
- Working with the Software Development Team, ensuring the right solutions are implemented, and provide technical guidance
- Follow SDLC (Analyze Requirements, Technical Design, Code Reviews, etc)
- Collaboration with Business Stakeholders
- Strong communication including the development team, project team, business teams, and members of upper leadership
- Interface with the Team / Stakeholders - Project Manager, Dev, QA, Business, Clients
- Interfacing w/ Leadership / Sr Leadership (Status on critical work, escalated issues, etc)
- Client Technical Contact
- Along with the Project Manager, meet with Clients, discuss technical solutions, timelines, implementations, etc
How you'll make an impact
- Lead a small to mid-size team of software developers ranging from junior to senior level
- Drive technical solutions
- Review code and communicate recommendations to development team
- Work directly with senior leadership on status of deliverables
- Work directly with the Business Team, Clients with solutions to today's business challenges
About You
-
- 5-7 years' experience as a Full-Stack Developer
- 5+ Years as a Technical Lead (supervising technical aspects of developers)
- Experience with SQL / Database Development / Data Relationships
- Excellent Communicator
- Able to make technical decisions
- Able to work with cross teams (Architecture Team, Infrastructure Team, Business Team, Technical Team, QA Team)
- Ability to assess criticality of issues and escalate issues accordingly
- Ability to mentor, coach software developers
