The Solution Sales Lead role is responsible for identifying opportunities and crafting customer solutions that meets short term and long-term evolution needs, utilizing Amdocs products Amdocs Intelligent Networking Suite | AMDOCS
What will your job look like?
- Provide technical and commercial leadership to key customers of Amdocs, based on deep knowledge on the telco industry, product offerings, competition, business drivers, and solutioning. Conduct a consultative approach to Technology Sales.
- Utilizing a deep technical understanding of the customer's current and future enterprise architecture, create solution on the basis of client technical and business needs. Maintain a detailed knowledge of Amdocs solutions and present them to our customers.
- Gain insight into customers environment, challenges, and opportunities to propose areas where Amdocs products and solutions can bring value. Ensure that recommended solutions reflects the Amdocs value proposition and our competitive advantages. Get into the details of how the system will function and will be coordinated into the client environment, and how open and easy it will be to maintain post-production.
- Maintain a comprehensive awareness of industry trends, standards, and competition to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics.
- Build a community among the team to enable ongoing knowledge sharing around products, processes, methodologies, success stories, solutions, and estimations.
- Lead the technical strategy and resources to support POC, demos & RFx
- Identify the customer need (sales opportunities) early in the buying cycle and determine how the need can be addressed by Amdocs. Analyze and quantify the business value that the proposed solution would offer to the customer.
- Design recommendation and formulate response to RFx, build POC/demos, and presents solutions to customers. Apply technical understanding of Amdocs products & services to align appropriate solutions based on client need.
- Foster innovation, deliver through leadership sessions, and provide ongoing feedback to Amdocs Technology product management.
- Present Amdocs architecture blueprint and Amdocs roadmap.
All you need is
- 8+ years of proven experience in the communications industry (OSS, Network Management, Service Management preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in network solution architecture, sales engineering, or solution consulting.
- Deep knowledge of Telco Architecture of both wireless and wireline networks, OSS standards (e.g. 3GPP, TMF, ETSI), OSS industry forums and initiatives (e.g. MEF, ONAP), Software Product Knowledge, Competition
- Knowledge in technology consulting experience
- Technical background and solid grasp in Network Service Orchestration, Service Activation, Service Order Management, Service Assurance, Inventory, Network and Service Data models.
- Written/ verbal communications, presentation and collaboration skills that brings multiple partners in developing an outstanding output
- Experience in requirements and analysis, project planning, solution design, software design, development, and deployment.
