Sourcing Analyst
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance.
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in sourcing or purchasing.
- Prior experience with purchasing systems and procure to pay processes required.
- Significant competency in developing and analyzing reports using business intelligence tools required.
- Detail oriented, professional demeanor, strong organization, time management, and project management skills required.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to cultivate working relationships throughout the organization.
- Significant proficiency with Microsoft suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.) required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owns supplier onboarding and enablement process for corporate sourcing.
- Liaison between corporate sourcing, property purchasing managers and suppliers to ensure that all information required to efficiently onboard a supplier is received and maintained within the purchasing system including:
- Ensure W9 / W-8s are received and matched with IRS information
- Validate information supplied on the Vendor Due Diligence questionnaire
- Confirm ACH / banking information in support of the Treasury Department
- Verify that an executed contract is in place
- Verify that a supplier risk assessment has been completed and reviewed, if required
- Verify that Certificates of Insurance have been received, if required
- Works with Corporate Sourcing and property purchasing managers to create and report key performance indicators for critical suppliers.
- Responsible for supporting strategic sourcing initiatives including diversity, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.
- Work closely with suppliers, corporate sourcing, property purchasing managers, and accounts payable to update supplier information, reconcile reports, and resolve any supplier performance issues.
- Utilizes state of the art techniques, tools, and technology to perform analysis in the most efficient, timely and effective manner as possible.
- Completes other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
